{"id":17,"date":"2015-06-19T13:40:18","date_gmt":"2015-06-19T13:40:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mauro-serpelloni.unibs.it\/?page_id=17"},"modified":"2026-05-27T14:59:00","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T12:59:00","slug":"personal-data","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mauro-serpelloni.unibs.it\/","title":{"rendered":"Unibs"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_482\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-482\" style=\"width: 207px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-482 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/mauro-serpelloni.unibs.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/mauro-serpelloni-217x300.jpg\" alt=\"mauro serpelloni\" width=\"217\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mauro-serpelloni.unibs.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/mauro-serpelloni-217x300.jpg 217w, https:\/\/mauro-serpelloni.unibs.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/mauro-serpelloni.jpg 429w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 217px) 100vw, 217px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-482\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">mauro serpelloni<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Mauro Serpelloni was born in Brescia, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>He is currently Full Professor of electrical and electronic measurements with the Department of Information Engineering, University of Brescia.<\/p>\n<p>He has worked on several projects relating to the design, modeling, and fabrication of measurement systems for industrial applications.<\/p>\n<p>His research interests include <strong>electronic instrumentation<\/strong>, <strong>sensors<\/strong>, <strong>contactless transmissions<\/strong> between sensors and electronics and <strong>signal processing<\/strong> for microelectromechanical systems.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, research has been addressed to the development of <strong>wearable sensors<\/strong>, <strong>autonomous sensors<\/strong> for biomedical applications and <strong>devices implantable<\/strong> inside the human body.<\/p>\n<p>He received the Laurea degree (<em>cum laude<\/em>) in management engineering and Ph.D. in electronic instrumentation from the University of Brescia in 2003 and 2006, respectively. In 2005 he has been Visiting Researcher at Escuela Politecnica Superior Castelldefels, Spain. From 2006 to 2010, he was Postdoctoral Researcher with the Department of Information Engineering, University of Brescia. From 2010 to 2017 he was Assistant Professor with the Department of Information Engineering, University of Brescia.
